Monoi oil is produced by maceration (soaking) process of fresh Gardenia tahitensis flowers in coconut oil. Has pleasant, flower scent. Recommended for dry, flaky, mature skin with visible signs of aging. As an emollient, it helps to create occlusion layer and reduce excessive evaporation of water from the skin. Used in prevention of stretch marks and in care of problematic scalp with tendency to dandruff. Might be used for body massage.
