The COVID-19 and Influenza A/B Nasal Swab Antigen Test is an in vitro immunoassay. The test is used for the direct and qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A and influenza B nucleocapsid proteins in nasal swabs. It is intended for self-execution. Children between the ages of 2 and 18 must be supervised and assisted by an adult when testing. Negative results do not rule out infection with these viruses. These results should not be used as the sole basis for treatment or other care management decisions. This test is for asymptomatic individuals and those with symptoms of COVID-19 in the first 7 days after symptom onset.
